  1. The Funeral Parlor- This isn't as funny as when we acted it out. The audience is laughing and whatever at the smallest thing. The only legitimate funny part to me was when they were just making noises about him dying and "keening." Their acting isn't bad, but I just think it doesn't sound natural. No one talks like this.

  2. The Funeral Parlor is a fun skit to watch. Burnett and Williams do a great job matching their lines and making humorous jokes. Their timing is uncanny. The two fit their characters extremely well and their facial expressions emphasize the feeling that much more dramatically. I like the script for the comedy. There are two parallel people in the cast, which compliments the scene well because there is a lot to say between them. The only part that I did not like about the video was the sound effect laughing. That is very corny... and cringy to hear because they're just forcing a laugh on you and even though it is humorous, it does remove the effect. Those laughs need to be deleted and they are just bad. Other than that, the play was good.

  3. The Funeral Parlor: I enjoyed this version of it. Of course, I liked our class' reenactment as well, but this is a bit of a different take on the same script, and it was really enjoyable.

  4. The acting out of The Funeral Parlor brings the script to life, of course. With the audience laughing and the facial expressions and movements of the actors, the acting out of the script gives it more of a comedic feel. Robin Williams played his role great, he made it very entertaining and funny to watch. Overall the screening of the script just added to its comedic factor.

  5. The Funeral Parlor- this was a funny skit but it seemed funnier in person. I think the actors portrayed their characters well. This play seems funnier when people act it out rather than it on a screen. I'd rather watch this on stage than in a recording.

  6. Overall I thought the funeral parlor was well acted. Robin Williams and Carol Burnett seemed to capture the personality of their characters so that they were believably absurd. They followed the script fairly well but added some improve comments of their own that spiced it up and made it more enjoyable.

  7. 'Dentity Crisis was a bit confusing but I have a few ideas about what I thought through out the skit. At first I thought the mom was trying to trick her daughter but than the girl really seemed crazy. My general opinion is that alot is going on but I caught on to that the girl was a problem with her mind that she cant distinguish the difference between the people around her.

  9. 'Denity Crisis - This was a pretty interesting skit with a plot twist ending. It leaves the audience in suspense, and on the edge of their seats. If you did not pay close attention, you would definitely miss something here. It combined comedy with realism, a drop of horror, and a dash of sadness / tragedy that comes with a mental illness. In addition, it included the taking of innocence. Overall I enjoyed this performance very much.

  10. 'Denity Crisis- In the beginning it was confusing because of how the character switching happened and then I kind of started to understand the concept. The actors did really good with staying in character and switching up like that I honestly would've totally broke character and laughed. The ending helped out a lot with understanding that the girl couldn't identify who was who and that she was confused. I honestly would like to see it in real life, that would be pretty cool.

Overall, this was by far the most confusing one-act play I've ever watched. The play was definitely interesting enough to keep me around. However, once it finished I was left unsatisfied.

  12. Sure Thing- The play was very entertaining and interesting. It also kind of forces the actors to say the right lines or they'll start over, which in my opinion is really fun because there are many possibilities for the perfect line to fit in that scene.

  13. "Sure Thing" was really interesting. I love how the actors managed to take the same lines and change their effect on the dialogue completely by changing the tone they said it in.
