Heeeeeey it was pretty nice. I didn't expect to really enjoy it and honestly only went because Raina was going and I wanted to hang out with her, but I enjoyed myself! The poetry was really nice and the atmosphere was homely.
I went to the BOA Birthday Bash with a few of my tenth grade friends and it was a really great experience. It was my first time attending one of these and I look forward to going to the ones that are to come in the future. My favorite thing was getting my book signed by a famous poet because I never had that experience, but that afternoon, I did. I also enjoyed getting to know BOA better since it is a local publishing company.

I really enjoyed the workshop with Janice Harrington, I loved her poetry and having a visuals of what her poems are based off of. Getting a copy of her book signed was also really cool. I defiantly would go to an even similar to this again.
